Anxiety & Panic Disorders
Everyone experiences anxiety at some point in their lives, but not everyone experiences it so strongly that it interferes with their ability to engage with life. Whether it shows up as excessive worrying, intense physical sensations, fear of rejection in relationships, phobias, or any other manifestation, anxiety can be debilitating. It can feel like a battle just trying to navigate anxiety throughout the day, taking away from your ability to engage with the things that really matter.
I work extensively with anxiety and panic disorders, whether someone is diagnosed or simply experiencing these symptoms in their day-to-day. By identifying the source of your anxiety and the things that keep it going, we can develop a plan to confront the symptoms and learn to navigate your anxiety effectively. By creating a specific plan to target your anxiety and/or panic, we can target the bigger issues and get you on your way to reclaiming your life, little by little. In doing so, we can challenge the idea that you’re not capable of handling the anxiety and create meaningful experiences to prove that anxiety isn’t something you need to avoid to be okay.
